I was riding back from my studio around 1:30 pm on Saturday night and I noticed a lot of people out on King Street. When I got to Dovercourt and Queen it was obvious. Nuit Blanche was in force, and I could barely cross the street. I had to dismount and walk. It was like a spectacle from NYC with so many people walking aound. This one building was wrapped up sort of like a Christo. I continued on to a couple of galleries, but it was too crowded to enjoy the art. I took a few pictures of the street.

Art Buyer Scam
At the beginning of the summer I was contacted by a person pretending interest to purchase my works online. Having proposed a pre- shipping price I was told that I would recieve a certified cheque by mail. The supposed buyer gave no forwarding adress but asked that I contact her shipper, because they were moving abroad. The scam involved me paying for shipping as they claimed the fees were included in the cheque. As I waited for the cheque , it never arrived, and the story I was told that it had been misdirected to England!! Basically they wanted me to ship out the works on trust because they had to move. My friend also told me of simular scams. If they don't do paypal, make no deal. I wonder what they would've done with the Artwork had I sent it.

Booth 149
My booth at the Outdoor Sale and Show in Trinity Bellwoods Park. I sold 10 pieces, 6 of which were digital photo manipulation prints. All the works fit into that nifty bin in the corner! I could almost take it on the TTC with me, fortunately Claude transported me to and fro!

5th Annual Queen Street Art Crawl
Yes, I'm participating. I have a booth in the Trinity Bellwoods Outdoor Show and Sale, blue2-149 near the tennis courts.
I'm excited, and my small works are completely affordable! I have watercolours, acrylics and oils. Many of which have been sampled in my summer posts here and then some. I hope that you can make it!
