A Bass Deal!

Finally I went and purchased a bass. It seems like years since I owned one. So I grabbed an Epiphone Accu-Bass(Gibson Guitars) that was on sale at Long and McQuade's Nationwide inventory blowout sale. I couldn't resist stopping in at the Ossington and Bloor location. It's a classic style bass with a split humbucking pickup, maple/alder body, maple neck, and chrome hardware. This model has been discontinued, so I got a very sweet deal and they threw in some free picks, ha, ha. The great thing is that it was a rental guitar, so although technically used it has minimal wear. At half the retail price I'll be practicing riffs with this for a while.

Mrs Anchovy says, "All you need now is a groupie"....you should blog the story of the apartment that didn't have a kitchen sink.....

I'm game for being a groupie.. if it involves travel and fringe benefits! smile.

Yes, Tim... share with us the story of the apartment without a kitchen sink... seems like a story worth telling..

Googled out your post about AccuBass. Am going to buy one in a couple of days. So, do you still like it? Just wanted an independent opinion:)

Also, do you have any idea why it was discontinued?

Thanks,

Tanya
