V for Vendetta

I saw the film last night with Greg at the Richmond street Paramount. I have never heard of this comic book but the Wachowski brothers pulled off a great adaption for the screen. Natalie Portman of StarWars fame looks amazing as Evey with a shaved head. Hugo Weaving aka The Matrix Agent Smith is the voice behind the V mask. Set in the near future V confronts the corrupt British Government with Shakespearian martial art knife play in the shadows of post 9/11 criticism. It was quite provoking and entertaining. P.S. The previews showed a new Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest with you know who, I can hardly wait.
