Rideau Canal named a global gem

Via the Globe. The 175 year old Rideau Canal has been named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Rideau Canal is a 202-kilometre chain of lakes, rivers and canals stretching from Ottawa south to Kingston, on the shore of Lake Ontario. It's the only canal from the continent's canal-building era that is still operating along its original line with most of its original structures intact.

Tim's Tandoori Chicken Mango Salad

Coat the chicken with tandoori barbecue sauce. Cover with sliced red pepper and bake! Meanwhile slice 1 mango, I peach, tomato, some cucumber and stir into red leaf lettuce dowsed with balsamic vinegar dressing and black pepper. Slice the cooked chicken and peppers on top of the salad bed. Not too bad!

Jonathan Seet Now Lounge Set

Jonathan Seet and his new band performed at the Now Lounge on Saturday night. Promoting his new album Thanks To Science We've Got Love, his band performed two slightly identical sets as part of the Toronto North By Northeast music festival. The sets were great and it was good to see Jonathan perform after his hiatus. Good luck Jonathan with your UK tour and cd release!

Shrunken Heads

Unbelievably good for a 68 year old rocker! It beats Bob Dylan's new release in my top 10.
