Robert Matta was a Chilean surrealist painter. His career spanned most of the 20th century. I find his paintings to be tres cool as they evoke the "inner landscape". Three years after his passing, one of his masterpieces
(The Watchmen) sold for 1 million at Christie's N.Y. Impressive!
