While taking the downtrodden shortcut from my studio to Queen Street I noticed a graffiti wall behind Abel Street. I superimposed a shot with this image of a loft sales office nearby to Woolfitts Art supply. Previously I purchased around 6 yards of 14 oz canvas. That is a bit heavier than what I usually use and I stretched up two 48X48 pieces to work on. I primed them with a dillution of gesso and roplex so they won't be so white and I'm hoping that the extra tooth will be a good surface for the washy technique which I've been exploring. Maybe I will use this image as a starting reference.
