A drippy painting panel with an assemblage of acrylic covered muffin tins, ortonized for effect!

What does ortonized mean? Is that like Orton Ears a Ooo?

Some photo buff by the name of Orton developed an effect via filters in Photoshop. Basically you duplicate the image in layers, blurring one, sharpening the other and then merge them in multiply mode. Experiment with the degree of blur, sharpness and multiply until you have your desired effect.

I haven't made any digital images in a long time because I find it hard to escape the tyrrany of effects.

Fun photo look at all those lovely drips just sitting there...

Don't you just wish you could lift those drips and place them on a painting?
