SP7, 2006, acrylic on canvas, 96X48" Copyright © Tim Noonan.
This ambitious canvas keeps on evolving as I paint out areas, creating new layers upon layers. I bought some wide brushes(25cm) and I'm deciding whether or not I can use them to take this painting to an extreme. It is often interesting for the work to resolve spontaneously and not think to long about the next move.

Thanks! I was working on it today and now it has evolved quite as bit. I'm starting to think 2 things:
1. that documenting my process often reveals that initial sessions produced great work, and it seems a shame to bury it under new layers.
2. maybe I should just do more paintings; constantly be starting something new and not think too much.
I will post the evolved piece tomorrow evening.
