The technique involves layering 2 images together, which is easily done in photoshop. Finding the suitable position of one image takes some degree of finess, as the elements from the other merge and effect the overall image. Take 2 photographic negatives overlap them and hold it to the light, fidget them around a bit and you will get an idea of how I begin. Then I will draw into the image with the photoshop tools. Then I will experiment with a few filters and adjustment tools perhaps desaturating an area or adding hue or such. The final outcome could involve as many as 30 steps or not. It would be time consuming for me to save each step as a sepertae file and I will attempt this sometime and let you know! I can tell you that it is more time consumung that it looks and that the final outcome is often only a few adjustments from what I could have possibly deemed as finished state(that is why it is art).
